Long story short...one of our cows has been fighting a hoof infection for about a month from a botched hoof trim. She has had surgery and a tremendous amount of medicines. She calved july 3 and has cycled 1 time (2 weeks ago). What is the best way to increase the chances of good eggs and do the antibiotics/anti-inflamatory meds have any kind of negative effects as far as flushing and how soon can we flush. Also, her body condition is very good. she gets all the hay she wants (which is not a very high quality due to drought) and we supplement her with a mix that is 14 percent. And of course free choice minerals. Any advice apprectiated, thanks.
