This is a young cow we own and plan to flush, but we need some opinions on what to flush her to. She is a landslide x anchor. She is huge bodied and has tons of power. She walks like a cat. The first pics. are of her and the next ones are her Heat Wave heifer calf. We flushed her once to Heat Wave and she only produced 4 embryos but our embryologist said she had an infection so hopefully she does better this time. We are wanting Show Steers and would like to stay away from any bulls that are double carriers (th and pha). Any opinions would help a lot. thanks

Great looking cow! How big would you say she is, framewise?

She looks to be the kind of cow that is borderline "perfect" IMO.  I think, if you ever wanted to use a bull that was a little harder fleshing, or shallow bodied, this cow is your safest bet.  Maybe there is a bull out there that you always liked, but had some flaws.  I would feel safe breeding her to almost any bull of any breed.  To top it off, she has a great udder, so no issues there either.  I would agree on some levels, to breed her to HW again.  However, if you get a great bull calf, it would just be ANOTHER HW son!  If you bred her to some of the other bulls suggested, she may raise the next "great"....or at least damn good!!  I think whatever bull you choose, the calves will be great either way.
GREAT COW!!  <party> (clapping) <party> (clapping).

Wow thanks eveyone. I like the friction idea and i really like the monopoly idea. Im not sure what her frame size is but id say she weighs around 1600 pounds. She is a big girl! Thanks for all the comments. What do you guys think about Naughty Pine??

i would stay away from Heatwave on her. She is a ground sow and it seems to me that HW works better on those sleek fronted, pretty ones.  I would use Lifeline, Hairy Bear, or something in that line that has had proven success on Char cows.  I would also look at a Full Flush line like Friction or one of his sons.  I think they will give you the extension and profile that you need.  She appears to have enough power. If she has a tendancy to throw calves that get too leggy, you may want to stay the maine route

i belive teh Neon idea is the hereford one. Hes a termondus show bull alon with greeat cow keepers. he sired many national class winners at eh 2008 Hereford Jr Nationals. i have flushed my cow who is also a lil heavy to heatwave and my embyro guy said that he might try upping teh dose of the super ovulation and i should try to cut her offf  feed. by the looks of it id cut that cow off feed other than that shes awsome and so is her calf
