Here in the northwest fly season is fast approaching. We've already had a few nice days and I noticed tons of flies on all the cattle's faces. We usually put dust bags up around the water tanks, then panel it off so they have to walk under them to get water. We tried a body rub but it's just too wet around here to be effective. We also use fly predators, but that doesn't stop the face flies. So I've been thinking about putting ear tags with fly repellent in all the cattle to give them some relieve but don't know how well it works. I'd appreciate any feedback.
