Anyone attend Yardley's sale in the past?  How does their sale normally go?  I am looking for a bred and like the looks of some of their Angus Breds.  Just curious how their sale normally goes and what some of their better breds bring.  Thanks.

Sparty-on, I went to their bull sale in March and I have watched the female sales in the past.  There was a lot of people at the bull sale in March and I think that is probably pretty typical.  They have nice cattle and they are really nice people.  From what I can remember it seemed like when you leave out the few lots that bring the high thousands that the rest average around 3k.  I watched their female sale last year and it seemed like they had some pretty affordable stuff.  I guess it just depends on what your looking for.  I can say they are super nice people and Mr. Yardley (Gib) will talk to you about pretty much anything.  If you have questions call him.  If you are looking for something clubby either read through their book because they mention a few that would make good clubby mommas, or call and ask, because I would say with the utmost respect that not all of their cattle are suited for the club calf deal.  Good luck.

Who doesnt keep their best ones?? I have been watching Yardley's program for a few years now and am really intrigued with the depth of quality in their catalogs.  It appears the cattle are presented in modest condition and are as honest as the day is long.  Their cows truly work and I love programs like this.  I don't know what their females usually average but I would say pick out what you like and bid with confidence.
