Does anyone know if the half Sm,half Angus bull Foundation is still available through any distributer or owners. ABS is not carrying the bull any longer & I saw some good calves out of the bull. Bauman, Sneed, & Derouchey owned at least part of him. I think that Jannsen's may have raised him,but I am not 100% sure about that.

janseen raised him, but I think he died, stopped freezing semen,  or something because his semen is hard to find.

Last I heard he was running on some cows @ Bauman's. Maybe Sneed will get caught up and ck in here sometime. He'll know.

Actually just got on here.  I saw Foundation yesterday as a matter of fact and I am pretty sure he was alive, he was standing anyhow.....lol  .  Foundation was moved from the stud where he was to where we could do sexed semen, he did not seem to like his new pen and we had problems getting him to freeze.  Not a good situation, but it does happen.  Foundation actually did start freezing again this week, first week he had been back in a stud in nearly a year. 

The calves from last years calf crop sold extremely well, we just had very little semen collected on him at the time so there was a very limited number of calves.
