Anyone still have luck with Full flush calves?  Are they now too extreme for todays shows?  what do you think?

I think some of the old stuff like that will still work well when use correctly.  I saw one three years ago at Houston that won the lightweight AOB class going away.

I'm seeing more Full Flush semen used in the past year than probably the four or five years previous. Some are using him because the steers that have been winning are getting a little bigger and a little less soggy, others are using him back on bloodlines that have worked well for them on Full Flush daughters.  We'll see how it all works out, but I'm guessing he's not quite ready to disappear just yet.

I think part of his comeback could be because Friction semen is so high and there have ben a lot of fertility issues with Frictions.  I'm lookin pretty hard at usin Flush on some real soggy angus cows to make clubby mommas
