We went out for Lunch after Church on Sunday and visiting, My wife wanted to know what Gavin(6) could take to school for show n tell!  The theme was, "Something your Family Collects."  Grant(10) my Oldest said "Dad have him take a straw of Nacho semen, We collected him."  I would love to see the teachers reaction when a Kindergarten Boy tells her what he has!   (clapping)

Is he going to describe how Nacho was "collected"?  That will make quite the show and tell story.

So there was this steer......

Daddy never said anything about Nacho breeding steers, but I figured he knew what he was doing......

Great one.....

We had a knee-slapper at our house 2 nights ago....

6 year old and I looking at a sale catalog....He pointed out "oh, I really like that baldy."

My comment, "Yeah, she's a beautiful cow, but she's dirty....she's a hydro carrier."

He started shaking and said...."EWWWW, we don't need any of that."  Also put a big X through her with his red marker.....

Guess that one's off the list!  ;D

This has been quite some time ago but still good for a laugh.  My son who is now 11 went on a field trip to the zoo when he was in kindergarten.  The next day in class they were told to draw there favorite animal, my son drew a lion.  Couple weeks go by and we have parent teacher conference, the pictures they drew were posted on the hall wall.  I find my sons lion colored yellow with a bright red tool.  His is the only animal with a tool, if you know what I mean.  The teacher comes out to greet me in the hall and I guess she sees the look on my face and says I sure can tell my kids that are raised in the country.

Makes dad proud--mom not so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D

When my son was young I was going through all our things and getting a pile of clothes, shoes etc. ready to take to the donation truck. We were getting ready to leave and my son asked it we were going to the "Good and Poor" to drop everything off! Everytime I see the Goodwill truck I smile :O)
