Last year our GC got $1100. around here it all depends on who your parents are and how much money you have.

usually around 3,000, but the last 2 years it has been over 5,000 , However the steers bring less than chickens at our fair...5,000 for champion pen of chickens..explain that one ?

ours is usually between 2.50 to 2.85 lb for gc, 1.50-2.50 for rc, and 1.50 and lower for everything else....steers that is....

grand normally gets around 3k. it all depends on how many people you ask to buy it. put 20 people on a list and have them agree to 200 each and you will sell for 4000. reserve normally asks grand how much they have people in for and sells for a little less

There are some counties down in Texas were the champions bring $20-65K every year and the kids get it all.

Our county fair champion steer brought $28000 this year and reserve brought $17000.  Last year it was $47000 for grand

wow, maybe ill get lucky and bring the big bucks, lotta things i could do with it.... buy some heifers, build new barn.

our county is usually between 25k and 35k.  Last year was about 27k and the highest i can remember was about 45k.

Ours usually bring around $ 3.50/lb. Last year we averaged $ 3.37 with a high of $ 4.25 and a low of $ 2.50. Pigs sold from $ 2.25 up to $ 9.00/lb.
