If a black steer is white faced with black goggles around his eyes does this take away from his looks.  I know this sounds dumb, but this dang steer stuff is sooo competitive I was just wondering if the goggles matter.  He is actually marked kind of like a herford he is just black not red. Thanks.

if it's eye appealing then it's good, if it somehow makes him ugly then not so much.  in a perfect world color doesn't matter but I have rarely heard of painting/dying faces

Eye Pigment means he wont get sunburned around his eyes. Trust me goggles are always better then red, watery, swolen eyes.
