There are just too many variables to give a "going rate". It all depends on how many head you are doing, is it a mass A.I. vs a tech coming out twice a day every day to breed one or two, how many miles your tech needs to drive, or are you bringing the cow to the tech's place.
Levels of service also can very too. It can range from the tech just A.I.ing the cow and you providing all the other help and someone to load A.I. guns, to a service we provide where we take the cow in, take care of all the CIDR's, shots, A.I.ing, feeding, and any followup A.I.ing.
Plus just the number of available techs in a region can affect the rate.
We do it a number of ways-- drugs, labor, 1 man, 22.50 a head you furnish semen, 12.50 a head labor only, or you furnish everything 5 a head, plus mileage if less than 50 head. seems to cover the expenses and not a bad way to make a few dollars (clapping)
drugs and semen are furnished. There would be at most 50 head probably closer to 40. The labor part would include giving the shots putting/pulling the cidrs, heat detecting and breeding.
