I was just looking through Lautners catalog and saw Golden Child...looks pretty good and just wondering if anyone has used him and if so what was the outcome...thanks

He has had some very high sellers, I know of one that I saw that sold for about 21,000 or somethign like that

We have 8 calves out of Golden Child and they are all very colorful!!!    BW from 85-125!!  All unassisted.  So far, most toe out...BAD!!  We will be posting pics soon!!

We had about eight born last fall that I remember.  No calving problems at all.  One really good heifer but no hair.  I've heard the hair thing on him from some other folks.  Some have great hair, some none.  One steer with bad front legs.  No great steers for us.

I really think he is cow specific. I saw a few calves last summer out of him on different cows. They were all different. Structure may be a thing going forward.

our's have good hair, great bone and thickness, but they just toe out in front to much. All are out of high percentage angus cows. No cripples at this point, only mounth old.
