Grass Hoppers

OK  everyone i dint know about the rest of the country but here in Texas we have been overrun with grass hoppers i was wondering what we can spray the pastures with that wont harm the livestock but kill the grass hoppers everything I read say don't spay where livestock is present. If anyone has any advice for me please advise....

If you want something non toxic you may want to try NoLo bait.  It is a biological grasshopper killer that the hoppers injest and die.  Non toxic to humans and other mamals.  It takes a while to work.  You should be able to find it at a farm center or garden center that carries organic supplies.

Hey there, chappy, depends on what part of the state your in, there are several choices to go with I sell ag chems. I perfer going with SEVEN XlR, it is fairly inexpencive, I believe you can spray the field with out removing the cattle. But pLease please read the lable befoe doing this. Do you have any worm preasure?
