I beg to differ with your detective work. John's cattle are dang good. Most of those breed cattle go to commercial cattlemen. I know that for a fact. You take away those real high ones and those cattle sold solid and high. I fight with my friends that John only raises "Show Cattle". I'm not convinced of that. High performing sound functional cattle that flat work in the real world. Not sure if you know this Knab but a high percent of his bulls go within 200 miles of Fallet. Which tellls me they work for commercial guys.
We all get that special bull that makes our heard but GCC cattle are not built on Whiskey alone.
