Was wondering where you all purchase grooming pants that where well and are reasonable in price?

Nothing but Carharts for me. Will cost you $100 but it is the last pair you will ever buy.

YOu can also go to TJ Maxx or Marshall's and they will sometimes have lined running pants. I have bought them on clearance for $5-$7.00. You can buy several pairs but mine have lasted for ever. I know some of the sporting goods stores carry heavy pants that are canvas-like (Cabela's). If you buy in the off season you save money.

I don't like the heavy ones.. if they get wet it's like carrying around another 10 lbs!  I get mine at Wal Mart... I don't think I've ever paid more than $10.  Then when you ruin them it's not the end of the world!

go to walmart and go to the hunting section and get some water proof pants. they go on over your regular clothes easy, water proof, lightweight and somewhat warm in the winter. they are like 15 bucks but are worth it. i took a hike in the woods last week in a downpour for about 3 hours and my pants under neath wern't wet when i took em off

Or.. you could just wear jeans and not look like "That Guy" in the wind pants.. but I guess it is funny to see you wearing those, so keep up the entertainment. I love to watch the people with wind pants over their jeans.. most never touch calf or they aren't very good.. just want "the look" lol...

I know plenty of kids that fit their own cattle who also want to look like they care about themselves when they show.  Maybe you like to look dirty Vacanballs (whatever those are), but the dirty, stanky, inhaled too much aerosol products mustache, glue and oil all over, steer jock look just doesn't look very professional on the end of the lead in the show ring, especially in the showmanship classes.
