Growing new hair

My calf has a lot of hair missing off of his face(like around the eyes) now because he was playing with another calf and ran out of the barn and totally biffed it and the ground is frozen. Needless to say he scraped his face pretty bad and the he was scratching it on a fence post to itch the scab. How do i get hair to grow back quicker?

I used fluid flim on spots that were missing hair. But if it's on the face, a light coat of baby oil works well too!
