Just when you didn't think we had something to worry about today
---Well,here we go and, he isn't even in the White House yet. 
Remember how the Obamanation said that he wasn't going to take your guns?

Well, it seems that his minions and allies in the anti-gun world have no problem with taking your ammo!

The bill that is being pushed in 18 states (including Illinois and Indiana ) requires all ammunition to be encoded by the manufacture a data base of all ammunition sales.

So they will know how much you buy and what calibers. Nobody can sell any ammunition after June 30, 2009 unless the ammunition is coded.

Any privately held uncoded ammunition must be destroyed by July 1, 2011. (Including hand loaded ammo.)  They will also charge a .05 cent tax on every round so every box of ammo you buy will go up at least $2.50 or more!

If they can deprive you of ammo they do not need to take your gun!

This legislation is currently pending in 18 states: Alabama , Arizona, California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Washington .

i can see it now.  everyone will have their "spent" shells for inspection and still reload.

i say secede from cities now.  charge more for food.  starve them.

I agree Doc. There isn't a really logical conclusion to the problem. What I want to know is, if there are SOOO many people against Obama, then how the heck did he get elected president (aka destroyer) of our nation?  Our only salvation now is some crazy guy with a gun that will have the guts to pull the trigger on him. If that doesn't happen any time soon, maybe we need to look at another "Rise of the South" but this time it could be "Rise of the Midwest." We all secede and live our lives free from liberal B.S.

they'll just use this when they do searches for other stuff and tack it on.  there's one thing city people are good at and that is creating crime by outlawing stuff.   what they do is raise the cost by the taxes and stuff to capture revenue before putting you in jail.  if they put you in jail before capturing revenue, they can't get tax dollars from you.

really, all they are after is your money to bribe voters with handouts to stay in power.  it's pretty clear that when the founding fathers were growing up, when they were like 12 or 13, they had the same maturity as someone who graduated from college, college today, not say 30 years ago when a degree really meant something and you didn't have so many victim studies credit wasting.

i wish this mess would just hurry up, and not say take the same amount of time as fdr.  maybe that means war sooner too.  oops.

I think his deal is most overblown, media driven, pathetic thing I ever seen.  Hell, the poor guy shot himself not someone else.  Shows the power of media.  Dick Cheney, didn't get this much press and he actually shot a guy!  Or criminals that kill people everyday, not on the frontpage, hidden back in the police blotter.  I believe people have the right to carry concealed.

I agree Austin. How do we know for sure that he wasn't covering up for somebody else? Because our team had the #1 THUG(Pacman Jones) in the NFL, I believe we cut them way too much slack as it is. I got so tired of seeing Pacman in the local news every other night for breaking another law. I was so glad when we him shipped to Texas.
