Had to ship old PERICLES today

Had to ship our old Galloway herd bull today.  Pericles impressed many Galloway non believers with his mass and ease of movement.  Not to mention his awesome disposition.  He was 3 time NWSS Grand Champion Galloway bull.  56 inches tall and 2600 lbs of puppy dog gentleness.  His daughters are tremendous.

Sorry to hear it, I have admired him for years. The old boys that stick around so long get to be friends. Can I ask why?

Sorry to hear that Harley. He sure has turned a lot of heads and gained notoriety over his lifetime.
Young Moto Moto has some big feet to try to fill up!!

If he was a calf in 2009, (assuming he won his first title as a bull calf?)  he was only 4-5 years old.
What was his issue?

His photo is certainly impressive. The salebarn drive certainly gets long and the load heavy when your hauling away a friend.

He was a 2004 model.  He injured his stifle out at pasture in 2012.  He surprisinglyhealed up only to injure it again this year.  He covered a lot of miles in his lifetime.  Both in trailers going to shows or being collected.  Pasture bred 30-40 every year.
