New to site, but love all the information.  Wondering if there is any special supplements you guys use to get the hair going on a 350# feeder.  He has about an 1 1/2 " of hair now.  I don't have a cooler but have a mister.  Brushing continuously and conditioning.  Just looking for a few more tips.  Thank You

(welcome) conibear76!

First I'd remove the old dead hair w/ either a grill brick ( sold in the BBQ aisle) or a scrapper comb. Getting rid of that old fine hair allows the new to come in thicker.
Also try to keep them out of as much light as possible. Rinse, rinse & rinse some more. I also like the roto brush for training the hair too.
There are some feed additives that some swear by. shag is an example.

It takes a lot of hard work & persistence. remember that genetics & breed play a big factor. Some bloodlines are great for hair while others fall short.

Best of luck!
