Which bull is your pick between Hard Whisky (Rogers) or The Maine Man (Lautner).  If I can get the semen in Canada I would like to breed them to our TH carrier cows.  I have not seen them personally except for pictures and video's.  Just wondering of the people that have seen them how do they compare.

I have not seen either in person but I would def go with Hard Whiskey.  His EPD's and genetics definitly are a +.  With some Irish whiskey and Legacy in his bloodlines theres not much not to like there.  He should throw some good ones wether in the feedlot or show ring.  What are you breeding for? Commercial? Show heifers? Show steers? Replacements?

I agree with jbzdad... not sure what you were aiming for at first.. Like he said, I'd give a few of them a try.  Park Place, a clean monopoly or Heat Wave son.  Almost all of their semen is less than or at $25 a pop.  This would probably give you better show steers but I'm not sure if they'd be ideal for a lot of comm steers, atleast compared to a angus or a big fraimed simmi.  Best of luck with whatever decision you make.
