Did anyone get a look at the cattle in the sale? Just wondering how lot 3 looked. Her maternal sister sold in Jeff Miller's online sale, a Werewolf heifer that sold for $22,000 (she was lot 1). We bought some eggs back in the spring out of the same cow (another online sale Jeff Miller held), sired by Club King, for a crazy cheap price and have a heifer coming in March from that mating. Seeing how that cow hits is getting me excited!

Are the cattle at this sale that good?  I don't think I have ever seen that kind of sale average for cross bred cattle.

Areage on 48 lots was $23031.25, sold in 41 minutes!! Look @ the averages for the cattle that are sired by the syndicated bulls and then compare that average with the cattle that are sired by the bulls that we can all get @ reasonable prices. That is quite an eye opener. The heifer that I thought was one of the best was lot # 7, a Dream On heifer. Lot # 35 was a very good Monopoly, and lot # 29 was by far the best Grizzly heifer that I have ever seen. Whether or not the cattle are that good is just PPL's opinions and perceptions. They are very good cattle and hats off to Hartman's for a very good set and a well ran program & sale.
