headache relief

I;ve been working on a cluster headach about a week now. Seem to get one every three years or so.What is your favorite cure.I've tried the migrane asperin stuff,percocen,coors,head on,sour mash,absolute,tried a buddies,paraoxitine,ear plugs,wrap around sunglasses,hugging my cat and I can't seem to shake it.One guy said put a steak on your head and one guy told me to walk 10 miles. Any ideas out there? :-\

I tell you what, I feel for you I get them a couple of times a month and it wouldn't be so bad if you could just find something that worked.  The best things I have used are Benadryl Several Allergy Sinus Headache and Hydracodine.

I know this won't help, but a non-psychotrophic amount of LSD helped relieve cluster headaches when they did clinical trials back in the day. 

My mom gets cluster headaches, and the best thing she's found for them is to try and sleep a bunch.  Sorry to hear that you guys have to deal with them, I know how bad they can be.

Try no, or very low ammounts of sugar for a few days, and all the H20 you can drink.  Drink so much that it feels like you will throw up if you drink any more.  Sleep does not seem to help these headaches.  Nor do drugs.  Have you been to a doctor/specialist about these headaches.  I used to have HUGE issues with headaches all day every day.  I had nasal polyps, which caused over 50% nasal blockage, and severe headaches.  When u get a headache, it is usually a HUGE sign from your body that something isnt right.

For bad migraines I use Tylenol PM and sleep it off, but if I can catch it early, I love my Migraine Head on stick, they really work, just dont get it in your eye, yes the commercials are annoying, but they do work. ;D

I dont know what cluster headaches are but sounds bad- hope they get better, I do have very severe headaches, I take two green benedryl and two excedrin,
seems to work, I hope you finde releif headaches are awful

What are the green benedryle? I think my deal is tooth related. Will go to dentist. I did go without pain pills yesterday and I drilled wheat and baled but I was on the edge of a head banger all day.
