Heat causes scours?

Have you ever had a steer/heifer get scours when it gets real hot? Or have you seen a steer/heifer get scours because of heat?

I just came in from checking the pasture and I have a 7 week old bull calf that has scours as well.  I am not sure if it is heat related or not but it has been very hot here the past few days.

Heat could exacerbate the scouring problem since more water is lost during hot weather.

Heat could cause increased stress which could cause scours.

Was just wondering because my steer got scours for no apparent reason. The vet thinks its  the heat though because it has been over 100 every day in the past week here. (Even though I rinse him twice a day and he has 2 fans on him)
