I need a Herf that looks like that we got a show that has a bounty on Herfs winning I think if a Herf wins this year you get an extra $2500 but you gotta beat win overall steer or heifer      What - did you just say ?

There is a local county fair that pays $2500 if a Hereford wins overall steer or heifer and it grows $500 each year until some one claims it. This show is pretty tough to win with a crossbred so it is going to have to be one heck of a hereford to win it all

just a reminder, she is not a papered hereford. She is only about 12.5 % hereford. But she has perfect hereford coloring, so if your show is sorted by a classfier she should work

  So is she a May 22 calf? I would not get in a big hurry to move this one. She looks to be a great one. Make sure that you get a pic of her to all of the bigger traders in the south. She'd go through the short looks like to me that she maybe worth a good chunk of change. JMO. Brent

Also, Doug McCollum and John Merrill of Coleman Texas are the now in partnership with me (Owen Weikert) on the calfs great Heatseeker dam. She is certainly going to make a splash producing hereford steers for the Teaxs show circuit.
