I thought a gomer was vasectomized, meaning part of the vas deferens was removed to prevent fertilization. Is this was you mean by rerouting?

They may do that as well...I've never actually had a gomer bull and I forget what the procedure entails, but in addition to that, there are altercations to the anatomy so he can no longer mount and penetrate a cow. He can still mount a cow, but he's not lined up with her anymore, so there's no penetration. Or there isn't supposed to be!... It's not JUST a vasectomy, but that may be part of the procedure. I guess in case a bull can still "figure out" how to make adjustments!
