Heifer with hard quarter

I had a heifer calv sat am,she was an ex market heifer that calved as a 3 yr old,she has milk in 3 quarters ,but one is very hard and i can't get anything out of it,i had noticed this quarter about a month ago getting filled in more so than the other 3. My question is has anyone else had this problem?would being a show heifer have affected this?what should/could do?The calf is a GIGOLO JOE bull calf cause i know someone would ask what she was bred too.thanks guys

It could be mastitis. Get a tube of mastitis treatment and shoot it up there. If you can't get anything out it might be a lost cause.

I would say mastitis also.  If you tried milking it out and got nothing i would say that quarter is no good.  Probably happened a month ago when you noticed it.  Sorry hopefully she is a good milker.  I  have a couple cows that only have three teats and always raise a big calf.
