Help? Feed

[OH Breeder]

There is a pellet feed that I can't figure out who makes. It is Show Tech two words and is not Show Tec by mooreman's. It is a pellet that they start calves on instead of creep Does anyone know what it is and who makes it?

We have been feeding a Land O Lakes pellet creep feed.  I'll have to look at the feed name on the bag.  It is a red/white bag, I think 16% protein, and about 25% roughage.

 

[Meadow Creek Farm]

We feed our show heifers;
                                          52% steam flaked corn
                                          30% linseed oil meal
                                            5% soybean oil meal
                                            8% molasses
                                            2% yeast
                                          3% land o lakes future cow mineral pac.

These heifers are on pasture and are fed 3lb at night and 3 lbs in morning of the above ration. We add some beet pulp, up to 20% closer to show time to fill them out. We have had good luck with this mix. The heifers stay full and have really nice hair with the oilseed meal. We also supplement our cows that are shown cow/calf with this ration also.
