ha, we've had the same problem with people thinking we are calling him cow when we are actually saying Cal!
We want to be unique, aren't there already a lot of bulls named caliber something?
I personally like French Vanilla no fat half and half latte but that's a mouthful!!!! Yea, we are stock show slap happy too :O) We packed up and came home last night. Home's only about an hour south of the stock show. We're pretty lucky. The numbers for the shorthorns were way down this year. Usual classes of 10 to 12 were 5-6. But the weather was fabulous and the company divine! Plenty of room to spread out, relax and take it all in. Our placings were o.k. Reserve Grand Champion intermediate bull with Ricky Bobby. A 3rd and a 4th with our shorthorn plus heifer our daughter will show this season. Glad to see the judges shook things loose with grand and reserve heifer. Gus is unbelievable enormous! We showed our bull Tommy Boy against him a few times in the last few years. All in all a great show. Good luck to those moving on to Ft. Worth!
