I'd say try our bull WCC Gunsmoke. He's carried by Cattle Visions and SEK Genetics. You can look him up. He's a smokey. Defending National Champion Chi Bull.

Thanks,

Chris

Here is a young bull , his first breeding season, we raised him, it's funny we called him Gunsmoke all the time when he was younger an then the people that own him saw this other bull named Gunsmoke an changed name to Muddy Water.

Saw Muddy Water @ Hawkeye this spring. Thought that he was a complete very good bull.

we bred 40 sim X Angus to our new bull Mercedes Benz. We bought him primarly for this maiting. We feel he will moderate these cows, add some style  and add power. His flush mate was the futurity champion at Jr. Nationals and the only other female out of the flush was champion calf in denver. Therefore we are excited about the maternal side of his genetics. I will add a pic so you can be the judge. Contact me at 479-601-3567

Mercedes Benz looks like a really nice bull. Will next year be his first crop?

See-N-Starz.  He's a Star Power on Heat Wave's dam.  Registered half blood simmi and also as a Mainetainer.

Mercedes video turned me off. womanizer and felony, malibu and n charge turned me on however  8)
Zach, Have you ever seen Mercedes in person? Yes, I agree the video was very hard to see him. Too many shadows and poor representation of who he truly was. All that stopped and visited with us at Denver stated that he was the most structurally complete bull in the displays. I also feel you must really appreciate the caliber and success his flush mate sisters are attaining. Isn't that what we all want is great cows to raise the great ones?

If you are talking about the Cattle.com videos, the Mercedes Benz video was removed for the reasons listed above.  It was a lighting and bull color issue, nothing to do with the bull.  There's poor lighting and then there's lighting that makes the bull completely indistinguishable from a black blob.

The video wasn't a fair representation of the bull and was thus removed.

so both of you just solidified my point. don't get huffy and puffy

I don't think anyone is huffy and puffy they were just stating some facts.  Let's be respectable you can't judge a bull by just a video or a picture.

what constitutes a new and exciting sire?  i think it would be more interesting to discuss who is trying something different and what they are doing.

what would a heat wave look like with flex in his pastern, reach in stride, normal size bits in females.  i'm still annoyed that a female can't win a major market animal contest.

No zach, I don't agree with your point at all and in no way wish to solidify it.  I'm saying the video quality was bad and it was removed due to that.  You said you were turned off of the bulll based on it when even the person who did the actual video has said it wasn't a fair representation of the bull.
