Went out to feed this A.M. and our hiefer was standing. I called my guy that A.I.s for us and  he can't come til Saturday , won't that be a little late? Will check on her later this A.M. to see haw far is is in her heat cycle and when she quits standing.

Right on Elbee -- the STOP is more important than the START -- hehehe

If she is normal, she will stand for most of the day on into evening -- then you will still be ok for at least 6 hours after the end.

Personally, I might be trying to find another ARM just in case she needs it by midnight -- the fact that it is "Whenever I get there" is not good enough for this business -- there are times when timing is everything -- absolutely everything!

Watch her close for when she stops -- and good luck!

4-6 hours is my ideal timeing -- others will do them sooner, I give them time - read above post.

You are lost if you do not know when she quits -- so that is the key. We hardly ever see them the first time they stand during the night -- but watch them for when they quit and breed several hours later. Works VERY well!
