I have a steer who's hooves I got trimmed a few weeks ago, the guy that trimmed them trimmed too much toe off his back hooves, he's been wadling when he walks ever since and limping on one hoof. Ive been using coppertox to help heal it but this isn't working any idea how to fix this problem?

Koppertox is a fungicide. It's a good treatment for foot rot and other problems caused by fungi. It's not gonna fix something caused by hoof snippers and a grinder.

Hoof is made of proteins. I would look for hoof dressing like you would use on a horse for cracked or chipped hooves...maybe a hoof conditioner that promotes hoof regrowth.

And time...that's the one thing you can't substitute.

I had a fat steer years ago trimmed. Walking to weigh in on the stone one hoof actually split. I asked a fella who races horses.
He gave me a big zip lock bag full of  stuff called polecat poltice to put over his foot for the night and tape on. Washed it off the
next morning and he walked without any limp for three days.
