What are some decent motels to stay in Denver for the stock show? This will be the first time we actually stay over night.

We've stayed at the Doubletree, Radisson, and Red Lion over the years, all out on Quebec Street. The Radisson and Doubletree were probably the nicest, and around that $100-$125/night range. The Red Lion has a nasty habit of over booking, so make sure you have a room if you make a reservation there. 3 years ago we got down there and they said they overbooked 10 rooms for the week, so we had to find another hotel at 11pm for the week of the stock show. Luckily the Doubletree still had rooms!

Embassy suites on havannah.  160 a night but 2 hrs open bar and free total hot breakfast. It gets reasonable quick.  Free parking

We stayed on Peoria, I think and payed $80/night. I think it was a Comfort Inn or Quality Inn. We don't spend much on hotels as we are hardly ever there. I think there are lots of choices going east on I-70. The new northfield area has lots of restaurants and shopping.

Ditto.  If you can hook up with a cattle group, they may give you a lower rate.  Also, if you don't want to have to drive to the NWSS every day, you can leave your car at the hotel and use their shuttle.  They leave the hotel every half hour and return from the grounds on the same schedule.  They fill quickly, though, and may already be booked.  Also, fyi, I think they call themselves the Embassy Aurora now.  There's another Embassy downtown.

Almost all the hotels on Quebec Street pool together and have a charter bus that runs to the stock show and back every half an hour.

We're staying at the Marriott Courtyard Stapleton.  Its just off of Quebec Street as well.  There will be lots of cattle people there--we're bringing a whole busload from Iowa and several of the Iowa State students will be there as well.

BCC, not sure when you need a room, but I have to cancel my trip so I will not be needing my rooms at the Renassaince on Quebec Street. Very nice hotel, I like it much better than the Double Tree.  My room is a double and rate is $90-ish. I will not cancel it until I need it, then if you want I can just transfer it to your name.
Dates are the 11-13 (Sunday through Wednsday).

Let me know ASAP.
