How hard does walks alone calve

Thinking about breeding him to a cow to have her 3rd calf, wondering how hard he is at calving time

We just had a walks alone bull calf this past Sunday.  He is a big one (I believe my husband weighed him at 117 lbs) but it was a relatively easy pull, all things considered.  The calf was in the wrong position starting out (head twisted backwards) but other than that she might have had it on her own.  The cow is a big framed 1/2 shorthorn/simm/maine cow of ours.  We will use him again.  Good bone, thick and good hair.

we had zero problems with walks alone x simm angus cows.....and they are probably the best calves ive ever raised! One and Only also calves easy on cows and are consistently GOOD

My calves out of Walks Alone have come easy.  No problems.  Lots of vigor and the calves are sound, stylish and have good hair.  The semen quality is tops as well.

I have had two walks alone and they were both unassissted. The one out of a wmw is a really neat heifer and sound with a big hip but the other one out of a angus x a witchdoctor cow is straight off his back wheels but still he has a big hip. Mybe that was just a bad luck with that mating cause the cow is one of the soundest cows we have. But overall i like the calves that i have seen.

I have only used him on mature cows 3 years old and older but most of the walk alone calves I got were rite around 100lbs at birth and unassisted with mature cows. If you use him watch closely when that cow is due being her 2nd calf, think about inducing if you use him. As far as the calfs go, they are some of the best calfs out there in my opinion, will keep using him and he is not bad at birth as I have not had to pull any of his calfs and most of mine were around that 100lb mark.

he really is quiet a unique bull. But pay close attention to thickness. I do not know I would put him on a second calver that has ANy BW in their history. Whats the breeding on the cow? What are you wanting to accomplish with that cow? What did her first calf look like? This would be her second calf?
