HOW MUCH RICE BRAN TO FEED?

I have a steer that is about 1250 and would like to feed rice bran to give him a better cover how much do I add to his ration now of about 26lbs aday we have about 34 days until fair

We have fed 1.5 lbs. per feeding with no problems.  Could probably go up to 2lbs. per feeding, depending on how much finish you need.  Start slow, adding maybe 1/2 lb per feeding for  a couple of days and then increase a little at a time.

We fed a pound a feeding but started 90 days out, like STM said start out slow, If you think you need 2 pounds a feeding work your way up to it over a week or so. I would pull a little of the feed out of your ration if you plan on going up to 2 pounds a feeding.
