How often do you implant steers?

I have bought a steer and he was implanted in feb. should I implant him again anytime. He is a late calf so he needs some help.

If he is a show steer we dont implant

you really need to find out the details of the first implant...make/model and serial number....per say....there are several manufactures and concentrates, for several scenieros....i personally would be reluctant to do anything untill you found out all the weights, dates and makes....jbarl
