Can you believe Ted Kennedy's' seat and heath care bill are almost gone? What about Obamas' plans? He couldn't get anything passed with a super majority, what will he do now? This will really through a monkey wrench into his plans.GO SCOTT BROWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Amen to that, it should tell the Democrats and Obama something that a dominate democrat state just went Republican.  He has been in office for a year and all we are is 2 trillion further in debt with unemployment still above 10 percent. GO Brown.

Ususally takes 24 hours to get a new senator seated in the senate.... bet it takes longer for Brown to get a legal vote, and I bet the push is on to get those votes a rollin before he can vote......

if you lose Massachusetts and that’s not a wake-up call, there’s no hope of waking up.  evan bayh.

3 victory's a revolution does not make.  time for reid, boxer and a few others including mitch mconnell to go.  if republicans want to win in the fall,  they better pull their collective heads out of their butts.  one thing is clear, voters hate both parties, at least for now, or until abortion comes up.

to me, the election was about what is in the way of job creation, not that we need more government to create jobs.  government needs to take a good look at the impediments to job creation and convert about 20% of government jobs to the private sector, fix immigration, subsidies, tax breaks, less scientism, etc.

a little over 5 percent still too close to be comfortable keep up those calls, emails, and letters,we all need to let our reps know they work for us,their party,no matter which one,may be over if they dont start listening to what we have to say

52% to 47% is what i last saw.watch what Olympia Snow does, this is not over. She sits on the fence quite a bit.Rusty

I am not much interested in any congressman or woman this is currently in Washington.  Kit Bond a republican not running for reelection cut as many deals as anybody on the bail out bill.  My belief is that they are all in bed with each other and all think that they know more than us "children" that vote for them.  The Big Brother syndrome is alive and well in Washington.  They all know what is best for those of us that don't live in the Beltway.

If you are an incumbent in either party that is up for reelection you had better hold on to your pants because it will be an uphill battle for all incumbants to get reelected IMO.

It is sad that in most elections you are voting for the person you think will do the least amount of damage, a lesser of two evils kinda thing instead of who will do a good job. I am glad that there may be a filibuster now because it is hard to tell what all Obama and the Dems would of got through. They still dont realize that they are not going to spend or tax their way into prosperity, how much more will it take before they realize they are wrong. Keep the Bush tax cuts, open up competition over state lines for health insurance, give small business owners tax incentives for job creation, lower capital gains tax and abolish the death tax. Then when the economy finally turns around you can worry about taxing for deficit reduction.
