Just born today to our former commerical beefmaster show heifer and our friend/neighbors angus herd bull. Nothing special, just something for the freezer but he is our first baby ever and the kids are in love with him.

Third of the year. Heads up x dew it right heifer. Cow had a good one last year and looks like another decent one. I'm glad it warmed up a little, but concerned about this ones ears. 10 days early on a really cold day out of the heated barn.

First calf of 2015.  Purebred SH bull calf (Muridale Bonanza 103U X Hot Commodity Son) out of a first calf heifer.  Born when the windchill was -24.  Worked like the dickens for 4 days to keep his ears intact.  Not sure if he'll stay a bull or steer him.  Time will tell.
