RoyalAce said:Futurebreeder2013, are you showing cattle? If you show, are you buying your show cattle? If you answer yes to both of these then I would recommend spending your money on show heifers. There are a lot of heifers that had a great show carrier then made great cows. You can also market your off spring better if your heifer was successful. Personally I liked showing steers better, so i always got OK heifers and decent steers. Looking back now I wish I would of spent more on the heifers not steers. Now's the perfect time for you to build your herd before you go off to college or what ever your plans are for after school. Hope this opens some light for you. -mike
