The Iowa Maine Anjou board of directors approved a motion that will permit any animal that is registered as a MaineTainer to show as a MaineTainer in Iowa. In the past, MaineTainers shown in Iowa had to be sired by a registered Maine bull. The exception to this rule is the IOWA BEEF EXPO bull sale. ALL bulls selling on the sale must be sired by a registered Maine bull.
