Is it ok to over feed kelp meal?

Would it be ok to have tasco in feed plus a supplement with a little more tasco in it?

A friend gets ours for us as it is not easy to get.  Comes in 50 lb bag.  We feed 1 oz daily. Have done this for 3-4 yrs and does make a difference.

Does that 1 oz just keep them on feed or does it grow a lot of hair too?
