What is the scoop on him? I really like his calves. He is pretty darn popular. The one catalog has him as pha pending. Do I need to be concerned? Thanks in advance. :)

He will put some meat in them. Need to watch the front legs, can make them turn out. Never heard anything on PHA , but he does have a lot of Maine on the bottom side.

I like him a lot. I will be putting in two eggs out of him and AF SL Pretty Woman for the early November calves.

JM Vortec is in my opinion tne best breeding bull available, but you have to watch out for horns if your breeding polled cattle.This is my daughter's Vortec heifer that she raised, born Nov. 2006

Would asa know if he was pha clean? Don't they have to test when they sell semen.
