This is our first JPJ heifer calf...What do you guys think? She will be 3 months old in the beginning of April. She's not set up the best, but I had the opportunity to snap a fast shot.

Thanks,
Jordan

From the picture she looks pretty mature for her age.Nice heifer. Interestig to see how she develops. It is so hard to evalute cattle via pictures, but unfortunately at times that is all we have. Can you get different angles one from rear or front?

Thank you for the comments! When I go feed tonight I will see about taking some additional pictures. Her mama had a problem with her bag early on and I think it set her back a bit, but now she has discovered how to snitch off the other cows.

Thought I would bring this one back with an update. This heifer just turned a year old on January 4th. Do you think she is worth showing? Could you give me some comments that you have on her?

Thanks,
Jordan

Thank you! Do you think she could stand some competition? We are down in Texas and I've thought about just some jackpot's and the county fair. I've never shown heifers before :/

Real nice baby-good older hiefer plenty good enuff to show-and you had the sense to grow her rather than blow her out-shes really gonna have a butt-and look fresh when its important. I only had 5 hiefers sell at Dmcc-video sale-3-and maybe the goodone (no saled her fair -square) went to Texas. I had these weird E-mails from some dude in Texas about my myriad psychogical problems LOL LOL, and how our cattle dont work in Texas-Proud to say weve sent a good little bit over the years-to nice people that know what to do with em O0
