Was anyone in Denver who may have seen this bull. Bred by Schaeffer Chi-Angus, in their second pen of three(not the champion pen). Any help appreciated. Hard to judge from a picture. I really like that he is 40% Chi.

Thanks,

I to like his % of Chi. This calf is what all Chiangus breeders should be striving for it is my opinion that multigeneration Chiangus cattle have much more value as breeding pieces than do some of these watered down Chi genetics that have been popularized in the club calf industry.  With any luck and some aggressive marketing by the Shaffer and Melroe programs this young bull will be very influential by showing the clubby world that Chiangus cattle can compete and preform in both the pasture and showring.

We got along great with some of the old Flash genetics.  Just what you are talking about - true Chiangus.
