I like him as a judge and the whole family is really nice. He knows what he wants and that's what he picks, regardless of who's on the halter. In my opinion he goes for functional type cattle. If they are flashy too, well then you have a bit of a bonus just like most judges. His family farm, Big Gully has some pretty sweet horned hereford cattle.  Are you showing at the WHC junior show?

He judged the red angus show at Agribition last year and did a very good job.  I agreed with most of his picks and the ones I didn't he had very good reasons behind him when he got on the mic.

I consider him one of the best younger judges out there at the moment in Canada. Extremely intelligent, sure of himself in the ring and he brings a professionalism that is great to watch. His reasons are accurate and he simply uses the good ones on that day, your name does not matter only the cattle are evaluated. He is also a great guy to speak with and I consider him a good friend to clarify my obvious bias.

I've known Lance for a few years. He was my judging coach in college. He's very talented at evaluating  livestock. He'll do a great job!
