I will be there with a shorthorn steer we sold and a maintainer/chi/shorthorn+ heifer we sold, not sure what we are going to show her as this weekend yet.

We're skipping this one, several heifers due this weekend so we're kind of stuck, but a Shorthorn is about the only thing we don't have (clapping)

My nephew said the quality was better than at the expo, but numbers were down.  You had a great weather weekend for it!

My little cousin won his class with his Chimaine and the shorthorn heifer got last in class to 2 really good heifers.  One was the K-Kim Mona Lisa/ Jazz heifer that was sold last oct. and the other was a Grey Goose I think.  I wasn't dissapointed at all with my showing.  It was her first time out with two first time clippers on her.  Just got flat out powered.  I believe that the DF golden Polka heifer won the shorthorn show with the Mona Lisa as reserve. The quality of animals that was there was better than the expo but about 2/3 less of them.  I bet only the first 5 allies of stalls were full then just a few people here and there towards the back.
