Denver itself was much better then the drive down there and the drive home.
Our sale heifer ended up as the high selling open heifer and will be goign to a great home in Montana.
During the show, the sale heifer ended up 2nd in her class. Our other heifer got rolled because of her back legs and sat 9th out of 10.
Bull show - One April calf won his class, Bull that won NILE ended up 3rd in class, and my Feb calf ended up 4th in his class.
On the ride down we ended up hitting glare ice, 90 mph winds, and a blizzard.
The show was delayed 2 hours because they shut I-70 down on Monday due to snow and wind. We were in the 1st class for the heifer show and were waiting in the staging area. The poor heifer had to stand for 2 hours on that concrete because they kept telling us he would be there in 20 minutes.
Ended up hitting a blizzard on the way home. We stretched a 12 hour drive into a 23 hour drive. Good to be home!
