Koupal Angus

Not sure how many Angus people are on here or those who are familiar with the Koupal family. Definitely some great people. Vern certainly has an eye for cattle. He'll sure pick one apart though, no matter how good they are. He knows what he is looking for because they have some great cows.

we have a koupal's bred angus heifer that we really like. she's yet to have a calf but she never really had a heat cycle while with our bull. if they have everything that's better than her then they sure do have a nice herd.

They are located in Dante, South Dakota.  LaVern and Alice and their sons Bud and David are great people and definitely have a wonderful set of cows.  (Even though I think LaVern was a little appalled when we told him we were planning on breeding the cows we bought from him to "clubby" bulls!)

I sure like what her says at the end about doing it to see how good you can make them,  not just for the dollar.  A few dollars would sure be good once in a while tho.

I've been to Koupal's bull sale, but do they have a female sale as well. They just sold some commercial heifers in the bull sale.
