Thick, soggy, broody. They're not afraid to give up a little femininity for some mass. Bigger doesn't scare them either. They'll do a good job. They know cattle. They have one of the premier herds in Canada.
I agree with cowboy_nyk. Lee and Dawn will pick what they like and not just follow any fads in the industry. I have seen them judge several times and have always thought they did a very good job. They definitely know cattle and understand which ones will do the best job once they leave the show ring. If you have cattle in front of them that have capacity and thickness, you should be in the hunt providing they are structurally sound as well.
I guess it may depend on what they have in the class to select. I'm not sure they will take a small framed animal if there is a slightly larger framed one with as much style and depth. The cattle they raise are not small but they do have excellent depth, capacity and guts... and they are very sound.
