I have talked to a few people that have Jimmy cows/heifers and they all have said that they have small pelvis'.  Thought this would help if you are trying to decided which one to breed to.  :)

Alot of people around me have had really good luck with jimmy the greek.  I have two heifers my self out of him that are absolutly awesome.  Some info though that i would pass on would be make sure you breed him to something with a little frame cause he will keep them short.

2nd place Class 5 at ft worth was a jimmy the greek steer.  he is out of a char influenced cow.  i would recommend jimmy the greek for steers.  be sure to breed them to a larger framed cow and he will moderate them out.  He makes pretty good steers.  Good luck

Leroy Brown steer was the reserve grand champion steer at NWSS in Denver this year. I have also heard good things from Jimmy The Greek, I think they are very similar. If you can, use both of them if you have enough cows to breed.

The few Jimmy the Greek calves I have seen were hairy, smaller stature and looked great as calves. They didn't seem to get very big at all.

Like i said earlier,  he will for sure bring the size down, however i havent seen a bad one yet.  My two girls are 44 and 46 inches at the hip at 11 months old.
