Location of Members.

Instead of always asking location when looking into buying something I figured it would be easier if I knew where the person was located while trying to decide if to inquire on animal. So I am gunna start a list on my computer. If you are comfortable with putting your state please do so. (example if cow forsale in georgia I know chances are there no way I am getting animal to Nebraska so I do not need to inquire)

most members have their location below their avatar and many more have it on their profile if you click on their name.  Not tryin to say it isn't worth it but it might be better to simply ask members to make sure they have one or the other done, just an idea.

Probably help if Jason will join in here and give a short explanation about how to go in and update our personal data for us older members. I know that I had to pm him and ask how to change mine. Thanks Jason.

Will do, on my evo right now so limited on what I can do.  I have been wanting to put together some videos of how to post photos, change profile, register, etc.  Just need to sit down and get it done.

to enter location:

1.  at the top find this bar of links

2.  click profile

3.  on the left there is a menu bar,
looks like this:

Summary
Show Stats
Show Posts

Modify Profile
Account Related Settings
Forum Profile Information
Look and Layout Preferences
Blog Control Panel
Notifications and Email
Personal Message Options

4.  select "forum profile information"

5.  there is a place to enter location, looks like this:

Birthdate:
Year (YYYY) - Month (MM) - Day (DD)  -  - 
Location:   TYPE IN LOCATION HERE!
Gender:    Male Female 

6.  there is also a map at the bottom of this page you can "pin" your location if you like

7.  make sure you select change profile at the bottom of the page so it is saved!
 
your location will now appear under your name next to every post you make!
