Looking For A Steer

My family and I are looing for at least one steer calf for my little sister for next year.  We are looking to stay around Ohio, New York or Pennsylvania and are looking to spend less than $1000.  If anyone knows where we could find a competitive county fair and local prospect steer(s) please don't hesitate to contact us.

we have a red steer that was born 1/8/08. I think he'll make a decent calf. also have a steer that was born 4/11/08. I can get you some pictures but would like to get them out of the slop first. 
We're in Ohio.

I can get a picture of the red steer. He's a little green but should fill out nicely. Structure is very good on him.
